Wonder Woman 2: Title, Images, And The Return Of Steve Trevor Revealed


As you may or may not know, the sequel to the highly successful Wonder Woman film is now shooting, with both the title and the setting indicated as "Wonder Woman 1984".

Warner Bros. has sent out a press release announcing the movie, and it reveals some interesting info.

"Wonder Woman" fans watched at the end of last year's blockbuster as Chris Pine's character seemingly sacrificed his own life in order to save the Allied Forces and ultimately win the war - while leaving behind Wonder Woman's Diana, played by Gal Gadot, to mourn. Nevertheless, he appears looking sharp as ever, albeit confused, in the year 1984.

The sequel is scheduled to be released on November 1, 2019, and will also star Pedro Pascal and Kristen Wiig. Diana Prince may not age like ordinary mortals, but Trevor surely does; so how come he still looks so fresh-faced all these decades after the first film, set in World War I?

Director Patty Jenkins also tweeted the photo on Wednesday with the caption, "Welcome to WONDER WOMAN 1984, Steve Trevor!". Filming is taking place in Washington, D.C., Alexandria, Virginia, and in the UK, Spain, and the Canary Islands. But before that, there's an official title: Wonder Woman 1984.
