The Los Angeles District Attorney's office is reviewing a sexual assault allegation against Sylvester Stallone, a spokesperson said Wednesday.
They gave no details about the case, which was forwarded by Santa Monica police, and would not comment on whether it would be disqualified for filing because the statute of limitations has since passed.
On Wednesday, a representative for Stallone repeated that the actor meant to press a case against his accuser.

But the company has been a target of some in law enforcement for rejecting efforts to allow easy access to iPhones . The FBI ultimately found a contractor that broke into the phone without Apple's help.
Reporting on this incident started in 2016, when a woman claimed she would file a report with police about an incident that took place between her and Stallone in the 1990s.
Hundreds of celebrities and powerful people, including actor Kevin Spacey and longtime broadcast journalist Charlie Rose, have been accused of sexual harassment in the wake of the Weinstein scandal. Greg Risling, a spokesman for the District Attorney's Office, told Radar that the sex crimes task force is now reviewing the case. The case was presented by Santa Monica Police, the office said. The alleged victim filed a police report in May.
At the time, Santa Monica Police said they were investigating a complaint that was made in November 2017 of alleged sexual misconduct in the 1990s.
