Bills' Beane thinks Coleman is a low risk proposition

According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, the Clevland Browns will be shipping Corey Coleman over to the Buffalo Bills for a draft pick.

Bills general manager Brandon Beane described the trade to acquire receiver Corey Coleman from Cleveland as a low-risk gamble in a bid to address an unsettled position in Buffalo. The Browns selected the Baylor product with the No. 15 pick in the 2016 draft. During his first two injury-plagued years in the National Football League, the 5-foot-11, 185-pound wideout has totaled just 56 receptions (131 targets) for 718 yards and five touchdowns in 19 games (18 starts). Philly got the better part of that trade, as they used their newly acquired pick to draft quarterback Carson Wentz. "So it's a fresh start for him to come in here and compete".

"I'm sure he's not happy about the play you're referring to".

"He hasn't played a 16-game season yet in two years", Beane said.

This trade is the second one the Bills have made over the past year that involved a first-round wide receiver.

Returning starter Zay Jones is coming off right knee and shoulder surgery and was cleared for practice for the first time Sunday. While it has yet to be seen if the players Dorsey got are 'real, ' we do know he's rid the team of all their first-round picks prior to 2017. "He's got to come in and earn it, whether it's a starting job or just a job on the 53 [-man roster]".
